We would like to explore the most beautiful gorges in Ticino with you. Every year at the end of August/beginning of September our “Legendary Canyoning Camp” takes place in the canyoning paradise of Ticino. This is a unique opportunity for all canyoning enthusiasts and those who want to become one! During this week, new unique canyons, emerald green pools and breathtaking waterfalls await you every day. You can opt for a minimum of two days and a maximum of nine days of canyoning directly when booking or start with fewer days and book extra days.

Day 1 - Canyoning and instruction for newbies

On the first day of the canyoning adventure in Ticino, all canyoning beginners and camp newcomers will be given a detailed introduction to the necessary canyoning techniques and equipment. In addition, we undertake a tour for sporty beginners and give ourselves time to train and practice everything extensively, clarify questions and prepare ourselves well for the eventful days afterwards.

Even for experienced canyoning enthusiasts, this is a good starting day to get to know the canyoning team of the week!

If you have never done canyoning or have never been with us before, it is necessary that you are there on this day!

Day 2 - Day 9 - Experience canyoning in Ticino!

The tours take place daily and you can freely choose your break day within the package you have booked. If you don’t need or don’t want a day off, you are welcome to spend another day with us in the gorge. In the evening we all sit comfortably together and review the day again or plan the next adventure !!! Together we will choose the canyons with you and the group the day before. Of course, a helicopter canyoning tour should not be missing in such a week. This is always scheduled for Tuesday.

The difficulty of the canyons usually increases during the week. For beginners it is therefore only possible to join at the beginning of the week (day 1).

If you would like to take a day off from canyoning, you can go canoeing with us on the Ticino. The motto of canoe rafting is: the smaller the boat, the more fun. As a small team in the stable hose canoe, you will find out what white water rafting means in Ticino: fun, action and nature experience – definitely!

Helicanyoning in the camp

Ticino offers the opportunity to fly by helicopter to higher-up entrances to canyoning tours. Of course, we don’t want to withhold this special opportunity from you. There are various possible gorges from which we can select a tour at short notice, depending on the weather and water levels. All of these tours offer top-class canyoning!

To participate in helicanyoning, a preliminary tour is necessary for safety reasons and to ensure that everything runs smoothly!

The helicopter flight during heli-canyoning is charged at around CHF 125 to CHF 149 per person.

Arrival information

We recommend arriving the day before your start day. So you can start your first tour relaxed and well rested!

Requirements for participation in the Legendary Canyoning Camp

A good general health condition. Health impairments are taken into account in the route planning. Restrictions on dizziness and swimming skills as well.
Minimum age: approx. 16 years, also younger if accompanied by a legal guardian.
